Airvents

AUTOMATIC AIRVENT WITH O-RING

Operation

The deaerator comprises two parts. The first part is the body with a 1/2" O-RING and a built-in non-return valve. The second part includes the absorbent fibers and the adjusting screw.

During operation the air trapped in the network or the radiator is automatically released. Should the second part (screw) be accidentally removed, there is no problem with water leakage, as the non-return valve is employed.

Installation:
1) The automatic deaerator is screwed onto the radiator or the network head.

2) A sharp object is used to press the ball in the non-return valve, releasing the excess air from the installation, until water starts to run.

3) The screw and fibers are screwed onto the body of the airvent.

4) 1.Using a screwdriver the deaerator is adjusted, unscrewing the screw by 90 degrees. Few drops will start running until the fibers are moistened for the first time and the void is closed.

From this point on the installation is deaerated automatically without having to intervene again. Fitted on manifolds and radiators.

RADIATOR AIRVENTS

Airvent with rotating plastic O-RING

Nickel-plated, with a plastic rotating head for improved deaeration. Bears an EPDM watertighting ring and is fitted on manifolds and radiators. Manufactured in 3/8" and 1/2".

Radiator airvents

Fitted on radiators. Nickel-plated with 7 microns, available in two types:

1) Automatic, with absorbent fibers, deaerate with no need of human intervention.

2) Conventional manual aivents.

Manufactured in 1/8".

Radiator drain cock

Fitted on radiators and on the boiler. On the radiators it is used in place of conventional taps, enabling the draining of the radiator whenever necessary. Rotating for better draining, manufactured in 1/2" size.
