Our foremost concern and commitment is assurance of total quality, and a great deal of effort has been made in this direction. The outcome of these efforts is the excellent operation of our production lines, by means of automated electronic control systems. Automation paired with stringent ongoing laboratory control in our own laboratories ensures that the end consumer will always enjoy products of utmost quality and functionality.

All Interplast products meet and exceed the specifications set by European EN and ISO standards and the internationally accepted German DIN standards. To mention a few, our products have been certified:

• to ISO 9001 by TUV Germany
• by SKZ Germany for the mechanical resistances of PEX and PP-R pipes
• by DVGW Germany for suitability of PP-R pipes for drinking water
• by WRAS-NSF Great Britain for suitability of PEX, PP-R and PE pipes for drinking water
• by AENOR Spain for the mechanical resistances of PEX and PP-R pipes
• by MPA NRW Germany for the impenetrability of oxygen through Comopex oxygen barrier pipes.

These major certifications are soon to be augmented by additional pending certifications from organizations such as SITAC Sweden, KIWA Netherlands and ETA Denmark, further boosting the prestige of INTERPLAST products in Greece and abroad.

In addition to the above, our products are also tested in the laboratories of ELOT (Greek Standardization Organization) and the General State Laboratory.

The following tests are performed at our company's own laboratory:

• Raw material flow test.
• Checking of outer and inner diameter, as well as surface of pipes.
• Measurement of polyethylene cross-linking degree.
• Pipe tensile strength check.
• Measurement of pipe wall thickness.
• Microscopic homogenization check.
• Pressure and temperature testing.
