Very seldom an installation will necessitate replacement of the pipe. In this case, it can be easily done by removing the cross-linked polyethylene pipe from the corrugated conduit while replacing it with a new pipe.
More specifically, repair is facilitated by the connection of the pipes, i.e. the old pipe is removed and a new pipe inserted with the aid of a pipe extractor; this procedure constitutes yet another advantage of cross-linked polyethylene pipe properties.
