On Friday 17/6 a technical seminar took place in Rhodes on the subject of the full range of products produced by the company for heating, plumbing and sewage systems. 65 heating-plumbing technicians attended. Special emphasis was given to water and heating pipes but also to under floor heating. Particular presentations included the following Interplast products:
Como-pex cross-linked polyethylene pipe, its properties, characteristics, and certifications.
Regulating manifolds made from brass profiles at affiliated company ELVIOM, in accordance with the requirements of European standard ΕΝ 12167.
Brass fittings produced from materials in accordance with European standards 12164, 12165, 12167 and 12168 and, in particular, the new series of brass couplings, straight and angle, the network filling-draining valve, the adjustable tee, etc.
New series of radiator valves, straight and angle, with the corresponding mechanisms and the series of valves of the internal and external branch for providing water supply or return independently of the direction of installation of the radiator.
New type of three-layer cross-linked polyethylene pipe with Como Floor Oxygen Barrier, which protects the metal parts of the system from corrosion. Plate with moisture barrier film onto which the pipe is fitted without requiring clips and perimetrical adhesive tape for sticking to the structural elements of the building.
Bar-type manifold with Allen bolts or flow meters for adjusting circuit supplies and thermoelectric actuators on the returns.
Supply nipple and return nipples with thermometers that are mounted on the manifold and assist the heating-plumbing technician in "balancing" (regulating) the floor-warming system.
Autonomy provided by Interplast for each individual area by fitting 24V & 230V thermoelectric actuators to the manifold and their connection to the corresponding thermostats.
New water mixing system that is mounted on the distribution board and makes it possible to combine radiators and under floor heating.
New electric actuator distributed by the company, which is mounted on the triode and is equipped with an adjustment switch for setting the water temperature.
